Balance report
Depending on the Merchant configuration we might see up to two wallets under your balance account: Payout Wallet and Fee Wallet.
Payout Wallet | Fee Wallet (available for prepaid merchants) |
---|---|
This is where the amount needed to process your Payouts will come from, that is, the value of all payments that are created are debited from this wallet. This wallet must have a positive balance, otherwise your payouts are stuck in the processing queue. | This is where the processing fees charged by WePayments will come from, that is, it is from this wallet that we debit the amount agreed in the commercial contract for processing payments. This wallet can be positive or negative depending on the trade agreement signed. If the commercial agreement is in Prepaid mode, this wallet must have a positive balance for the correct processing of payouts. If the commercial agreement is in the Post-Paid mode, this wallet may be negative without any charge for the processing to function. |
All transactions are listed in your balance and categorized as CREDIT or DEBIT (operation type). Transactions also impact specific wallets, this information is available in the balance_type field, which can be FEE or PAYOUT.
